About me

I am a professional freelance artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. I graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1988, specialising in drawing and painting.

My paintings communicate the personal connection I have with the landscape expressed through bold brushwork and a rich sense of colour.  Where possible I work directly from nature capturing the ever changing elements unique to a Scottish landscape. I explore my emotional responses through colour and semi abstract forms.

I have taken part in many collective exhibitions throughout Scotland and my work is in private collections far and wide. My freelance work within the visual arts field has included tutoring, community arts work, murals and illustration.
